We are following events in Hong Kong very closely and hope that, in response to the peaceful demands of so many citizens, the authorities there and in mainland China show wisdom and willingness to listen. A dialogue should be opened to reach an agreed solution that responds to the legitimate aspirations of those asking for the Constitution approved in 1997 to be respected.
