Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Paolo Gentiloni had a telephone meeting today with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, who informed him on the results of the operation carried out by the Turkish armed forces in Syrian territory aimed at repatriating the remains of Suleiman Shah and boosting security around the Turkish contingent defending the mausoleum.
They also exchanged ideas on initiatives already under way in response to the Libyan crisis and the next steps to be taken within the United Nations framework.
