It was with great pleasure that the Farnesina learned of today’s election of Prof. Andrea Riccardi as president of the Dante Alighieri Society.
In expressing appreciation for the appointment of such an esteemed figure as director of that historic institution, the Farnesina extended its best wishes to Professor Riccardi for the important task ahead. The activities of the Dante Alighieri Society will thus go forward in increasing close cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in line with its renewed efforts in support of the international dissemination of Italian language and culture.
