Terrorist attacks in Sinai Peninsula strongly condemned by Farnesina

The Italian Foreign Ministry strongly condemns the terrorist attacks that struck Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula yesterday, 2 April 2015, and extends its solidarity to the Egyptian authorities and people. The Farnesina also wishes to express its deepest sympathy for the families of the victims of this cowardly attack. In confirming that Italy and Egypt share a common interest in safeguarding regional stability, Italy reiterates its full support for Egypt, a key partner in combating terrorism.
