Foreign Minister Gentiloni expresses his condolences for the bombings in Ankara and Diyarbakir

“I would like to express Italy’s sympathy and solidarity to the families of the victims and to the Turkish Government for this morning’s bombing at Diyarbakir, which followed the attack perpetrated in Ankara yesterday,” said Paolo Gentiloni, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, when commenting the tragic incidents that recently occurred in Turkey, only a few days before his visit to the Country.

“Italy – said Mr Gentiloni – is close to the Turkish people; Italy and Turkey are united in the common and determined commitment to fight terrorism.”
