The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Paolo Gentiloni, held a telephone conversation with Libyan Prime Minister Fayez al-Sarraj today, to whom he expressed Italy’s full and staunch support for the Government of National Accord that he leads, as well as the wish that the Government might soon be installed in Tripoli.
Prime Minister Fayez al-Sarraj and Foreign Minister Gentiloni agreed to establish contacts between the members of the Government of National Accord and their Italian counterparts in different sectors of activity but especially in the field of humanitarian aid and health care.
