Jordan: the Foreign Ministry condemns the terrorist attack near Baqa’a

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation staunchly condemns the terrorist attack on the offices of the General Intelligence Department near Baqa’a, in which five officers were killed. In expressing its condolences to the Government of Jordan and to the families of the victims, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs renews Italy’s support for the efforts made by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to fight terrorism and increase the resilience of Jordanian institutions in meeting the challenge posed by the crises under way in neighbouring countries. Italy and Jordan are united in the effort to strengthen stability and security in the Middle East region.
