Floods in Skopje and Tetovo, Italy grants 200,000 euros in emergency aid

In response to the Government of Skopje’s call for aid after the recent floods that have caused severe damage and displaced thousands, especially in the rural areas of Skopje and Tetovo, the Italian Foreign Ministry has allocated 200,000 euros in emergency aid to the ICRC (International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies).

The Italian Development Cooperation’s contribution will help finance the first aid operations that the Red Cross is carrying out in the country, which include providing essential supplies to the displaced population such as food, hygiene kits, clothing, covers, mattresses, and drinkable water.
