Regeni Case: Minister Gentiloni to Giulio’s parents: “Fruitful talks and positive signals”

Minister Gentiloni called today the parents of Giulio Regeni in order to renew his own and the Government’s closeness. During the call, Mr. Gentiloni mentioned the judgment of the Prosecutor’s Office of Rome, saying that today’s meeting with the Egyptian Prosecutor General was fruitful. Minister Gentiloni also expressed the wish that over the next few weeks these positive signals might consolidate and turn into a common commitment to pursue the truth on what happened to Giulio.
