This morning, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Angelino Alfano, had a telephone conversation with the European Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, Johannes Hahn.
The telephone call, made at the request of the European Commissioner, concerned the Western Balkans Process, of which Italy currently holds the Presidency. The conversation, which centred on future prospects as well as on the actual projects to be discussed at the upcoming Trieste Summit on 12 July, also focused on preparations for the main themes of the summit, primarily connectivity.
