“Starting from next 29 June, also the Libyan citizens in the Eastern part of the Country will be able to book a date on which to apply for a visa to Italy through a help desk to be open in Tobruk. This is very important news,” said Angelino Alfano, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
Minister Alfano added: “This step, which I personally monitored and encouraged, is intended to represent a signal of support and closeness to the communities and populations of those areas and is aimed at promoting the diffused presence of Italy throughout the North African Country, adjusting to the different regional situations in Libya.”
