“With Denmark we share common objectives and interests of primary importance within the EU. I am referring in particular to the completion of the Single Market, the fight against protectionism and the creation of a European defence system, since a European Union that is autonomously able to ensure safety can make the right contribution to NATO and reinvigorate transatlantic relations”, said the Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Angelino Alfano, ahead of today’s meeting at the Farnesina with his Danish counterpart.
