Minister Alfano meets with the Deputy Secretary of State John Sullivan

“Italy and the USA are bound by a very strong alliance that rests its roots in history and in common values. We also share the same commitment in multiple areas of crisis such as Kosovo, Afghanistan and Iraq. With Deputy Secretary of State John Sullivan, we discussed the most topical international dossiers, starting with those of the Mediterranean and the Sahel, the strategic security challenges in Europe, Asia and Ukraine and managing migration flows.”

The statement was made by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Angelino Alfano, at the end of the meeting he had today at the Farnesina with the Deputy Secretary of State John Sullivan.
