The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Enzo Moavero Milanesi, today had a telephone conversation with the European Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, Johannes Hahn. The conversation unfolded with an exchange of opinions on the major issues currently on the European scenario, also in view of the upcoming deadlines and meetings scheduled in Brussels.
Moavero and Hahn – who congratulated the Italian Foreign Minister for his recent appointment – focused on the future of EU-Turkey relations and on the challenges posed by the migration flows along the Central Mediterranean.
