The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Enzo Moavero Milanesi, met with the European Commissioner for economic and financial affairs, Pierre Moscovici, today in Rome.
The meeting offered the opportunity to reaffirm the common will to continue the dialogue on the draft budgetary plan sent to Brussels by the Government last 15 October within the normal institutional framework set forth in the rules of the Economic and Monetary Union
In particular, the Foreign Minister and the EU Commissioner agreed on the importance of continuing the discussion in an atmosphere of a correct, loyal and constructive exchange of their respective positions, in accordance with relevant regulatory provisions.
