“Today’s discussion at the European Union Foreign Affairs Council recorded a unanimous and convinced support for the Palermo Conference next November,” said the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Enzo Moavero Milanesi, in Luxembourg.
“The European Union’s Member States and Institutions clearly reaffirmed their commitment to speak in a single voice and coherently bring forward a joint effort to restore security conditions in Libya. To this end, the process of reference remains the one outlined in the Plan of the United Nations, in the context of which also falls the Palermo Conference,” concluded Minister Moavero.
