Developments in Libya: Minister Moavero is in contact with the Embassy in Tripoli

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Enzo Moavero Milanesi – in Washington to attend the meeting of NATO Foreign Ministers – is carefully watching the developments in Libya in close contact with the Italian Embassy in Tripoli. The Foreign Minister joins the United Nations Secretary General, António Guterres, in recalling that the road towards the solution of the crisis must be through inclusive, constructive and responsible dialogue between all the players in the Country, in the primary interest of the Libyan people and of a balanced stabilisation process. To this end, Italy confirms its support to the action of the UN Special Representative in Libya, Ghassan Salamé.
