Italy warmly welcomes the news of the appointment of the Italian diplomat Vincenzo Del Monaco as Head of the OSCE Mission in Tirana.
The success of Italy’s candidacy is an important recognition of Italy’s active role in the OSCE – an organization to which our country is one of the main contributors in terms of human and financial resources – in supporting peacekeeping and stability in the region.
Italy continues to strengthen its commitment in the OSCE to build a Euro-Atlantic, Euro-Asian, and Euro-Mediterranean security community, based on shared democratic principles and values, “from Vancouver to Vladivostok”.
