Undersecretary Manlio Di Stefano participated today in the 17th National Assembly of the Delegates of Legacoop Agroalimentare.
“Today we have to start again from the consideration that our exports represent the maximum expression of our productive excellence”,” began the Undersecretary.
In his speech, Di Stefano recalled the main instruments of the “Export Pact”, made available to Italian SMEs, and the continuous commitment of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to support the agri-food sector. It represents the first productive sector as a national value (538 billion euros in turnover, equal to 25% of national GDP, in 2019); and the second, after machinery, as an export (44.6 billion euros in 2019).
“It is increasingly necessary to position our County in the new world value chains and adapt to the new dimensions of the world market. Our SMEs can count on the concrete and structural support of the State to become internationalized,” concluded the Undersecretary.
