Di Stefano takes part in the webinar on economic relations between Portugal and Italy

This morning, Deputy Minister Manlio Di Stefano took part in the opening of the webinar on “Portugal: tools for strengthening bilateral economic collaboration”, for Italian businesses interested in expanding on the Portuguese market. The webinar was organised by Italy’s Embassy in Lisbon, in partnership with the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Portugal, the ICE Agency and SIMEST.

“We intend to further strengthen our economic and trade ties and open up new opportunities for investments in both conventional sectors of our economies, such as tourism, and cutting-edge areas, such as the digital, environmental and space industries”, said Deputy Minister Di Stefano, emphasizing how, at the end of 2019, Italy’s trade surplus with Portugal ranked among our ten highest worldwide.

The webinar was also an opportunity to systematically outline the prospects for improving the quality of our bilateral economic relations, thanks to the participation of qualified representatives of our Country’s economic system.
