Sereni and Urpilainen hold talks on food safety and sustainable development

Today, Vice Minister Sereni held cordial talks, by videoconference, with the European Commissioner for International Partnerships Jutta Urpilainen. They examined the key issues on the agenda of the forthcoming Foreign and Development Joint Ministerial Session as part of the G20, which Italy will be hosting on 29 June, in Matera, as Chair of the G20.These include food safety, financing sustainable development and the role of cities and regions in achieving the goals of the 2030 Agenda.
