‘Destinazione Export’, the first regional roadshow to discover the opportunities of the export.gov.it portal promoted by MAECI, ICE, SACE and SIMEST in collaboration with the Conference of the Regions and Unioncamere, gets underway.

A cycle of 4 virtual meetings dedicated to companies that want to deepen tools and strategies to support export, gathered within the single portal Export.gov.it.

Rome, September 27, 2021 – The first regional roadshow, “Destinazione Export”, promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) and carried out by ICE (Italian Trade Agency), SACE and SIMEST agencies, in collaboration with the Conference of Regions and Unioncamere, is now underway. These are four virtual stages for an in-depth look at the tools and measures to support exports made available by Italy and brought together in the public portal Export.gov.ita unique tool on the national scene developed upon the initiative of MAECI in the framework of the strategies of the Steering Committee for internationalisation.

The four stages, divided by regional areas, will be broadcast in live streaming, and aim to ‘guide’ SMEs through fundamental steps to start and strengthen their presence abroad. The roadshow is therefore designed both for those who intend to approach foreign markets and for those who already operate across borders but want to give an extra push to their business: preparing to export; identifying target countries; planning market entry; promoting and digitalising the business; negotiating the commercial contract; managing risk and liquidity; continuing to grow.

The first stage will be attended by the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs responsible for internationalisation, Manlio Di Stefano, ICE President, Carlo Ferro, the Managing Director of SACE, Pierfrancesco Latiniand the Managing Director of SIMEST, Mauro Alfonso. Moreover, the reference councillor will speak for each region.

Registration is free for the regional stage of interest on export.gov.it/events.
