Today, on the occasion of the Rome-Med Dialogues, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Luigi Di Maio, had a meeting with Anže Logar, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia.
Looking ahead to the next Coordination Committee of Ministers in early 2022, which will be organised by Slovenia, Minister Di Maio and his Slovenian counterpart went back over the many stages that contributed to strengthening their bilateral cooperation.
They also discussed the opportunities arising from trilateral cooperation in the Upper Adriatic, particularly in the areas of connectivity and environmental protection: topics that were again addressed by Minister Di Maio in a conversation he had today with the Croatian Foreign Minister.
In relation to the pandemic, Minister Di Maio offered full solidarity to Minister Logar, confirming aid and medical assistance from the Italian government to deal with the emergency.
