Task Force on Child Custody Disputes held second meeting

Today, the Task Force on Child Custody Disputes, chaired by the Directorate-General for Italians Abroad, held its second meeting of 2022, attended by Interior Ministry and Justice Ministry officials too.

In this regard, the meeting discussed cases of abducted children in that country, where synergistic actions have been defined and strengthened between the Administration offices involved, so as to find solutions to the cases in point.

During the first four months of 2022, the Farnesina has recorded 40 new child custody dispute cases, 25 of which in Europe, 11 in America, 2 in Asia, 1 in the Mediterranean and Middle East region and 1 in Sub-Saharan Africa.
