Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Hon. Antonio Tajani will be in Vienna on Wednesday and Thursday for a meeting with Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg, which will be followed by a press point.
The Deputy Prime Minister will also see Chancellor Karl Nehammer and attend a meeting organised by the Presidency of the European People’s Party (EPP), at which the Heads of the EPP National Delegations will speak.
Deputy Prime Minister Tajani’s visit to Austria is part of a phase of fruitful dialogue with a neighbouring country and EU partner, and will provide an opportunity to strengthen cooperation and discussion with Austria on the main bilateral issues (particularly in the economic, energy and infrastructure fields), as well as on European and international ones, starting with the migration issue.
