The adoption in the Chamber of Deputies of the Law converting Decree-Law No. 145/2023 concludes the legislative process to start the disbursement of the €100 million in refunds allocated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in favour of Tuscan exporting companies affected by the floods of last November.
Minister Antonio Tajani said: “We are stepping up the procedures to provide the necessary support to the Tuscan exporting companies affected by the floods as soon as possible, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Export Agencies are already at work to ensure this result.”
To this end – pending the publication of the Decree-Law in the Official Journal, and in view of speeding up the necessary procedures – the Facilitation Committee (an inter-Ministerial body chaired by the Foreign Ministry which runs the Integrated Promotion Fund managed by Simest) will meet as early as this week to adopt the procedures for using the 100 million euro allocation dedicated to damage compensation.
