The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, met the CEO of the FS Italiane Group, Luigi Ferraris, the President of Trenitalia, Stefano Cuzzilla, and the Director of Trenitalia’s High-Speed Business Division, Pietro Diamantini at Farnesina.
The meeting was an opportunity to announce the new facility that Trenitalia, leader of the Passengers Business Division of the FS Italiane Group, intends to offer for the benefit of registered Italians living abroad.
“This initiative testifies to the attention that the Farnesina pays to the link with Italians abroad and its commitment to promoting the beauty and riches of the entire national territory abroad. The government wishes to valorise them by favouring initiatives such as this one”, said Deputy Prime Minister Tajani.
The subsidy aims to enable Italian citizens living abroad to purchase Trenitalia’s Frecciarossa train tickets at advantageous prices, according to the terms and conditions established by the operator that will be communicated on the institutional channels of the diplomatic-consular network.
