Il Ministro Tajani domani a Venezia per l’apertura del salone nautico

The Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Hon. Antonio Tajani, will attend the opening ceremony of the Venice Boat Show tomorrow. A press point is scheduled on the sidelines.

‘In 2023 the Italian pleasure boating industry achieved excellent results: with 4 billion Euros – an absolute record for the Italian sector – it is the leading European country in terms of exports and the world leader in the production of superyachts, accounting for 51.4% of orders at a global level,’ commented Mr Tajani, who reaffirmed the Italian Government’s strong commitment to supporting the internationalisation of the boating sector, thanks to the growth diplomacy action carried out by the Foreign Ministry in cooperation with SACE, Simest, and ICE.

The opening ceremony will also be attended by the Deputy Minister for Business and Made in Italy, Valentino Valentini, the Navy Chief of Staff, Admiral Enrico Credendino, the President of the Veneto Region, Luca Zaia, the Mayor of Venice, Luigi Brugnaro, and ICE President, Matteo Zoppas.

The Venice Boat Show is one of the main international fairs dedicated to the sector, with a special focus on innovative and sustainable pleasure boating (electric, hybrid and hydrogen propulsion) and design. The fifth edition, like the previous ones, will take place in the historic Venice Arsenal and 270 exhibitors are expected, 54 of whom from abroad.To support the event, ICE Agency has allocated a contribution for the hospitality of 35 foreign economic operators from Spain, Slovenia, Croatia, the United Kingdom, Serbia, Poland, Switzerland Austria, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, France, and Germany.
