The Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Maria Tripodi, spoke at the fifth “Forum ENPAIA 2024”, promoted by the Enpaia Foundation, the National Social Security Institute for Agricultural Workers, together with representatives of the institutional and academic world, social security funds and investment funds.
Undersecretary Tripodi said: “The topics discussed today, ranging from artificial intelligence to the enhancement of human capital, from support for agro-industry to digitalization, are also central elements in the framework of the Foreign Ministry’s growth diplomacy strategy, launched by Deputy Prime Minister Antonio Tajani at the beginning of his term of office. This is a strategy based on a wide range of players and initiatives, aimed at making our country increasingly attractive for new investment and, at the same time, promoting the export and protection of our excellence in the world. We coordinate the tools of economic, cultural and scientific diplomacy to strengthen Italy’s growth, prestige and ability to influence the world at a cultural and economic level.”
The Undersecretary concluded by expressing great appreciation for the Foundation and for an initiative that – again this year – has proved to be a laboratory of ideas and a true point of reference for the debate on crucial issues for the future of Italy.
The Forum was attended by the Nobel Prize winner for economics, Christopher Pissarides, the President of the Enpaia Foundation, Giorgio Piazza, the Rector of the LUISS University, Paolo Boccardelli, the President of Confagricoltura, Massimiliano Giansanti, the President of Coldiretti, Ettore Prandini and the Deputy Director General of FAO, Mario Lubetki.
