Tunisia: The Italian Foreign Ministry assists 11 injured Italians in a road accident

The Italian Embassy in Tunis, in close coordination with the Italian Foreign Ministry, is providing full assistance to the Italian nationals involved in a minibus accident that occurred the day before yesterday in Tunisia. The vehicle overturned after skidding due to high speed on a rain-slicked road on the motorway between Sousse and Hammamet.

The eleven Italian nationals involved were transported to local hospitals for the necessary treatment: most suffered minor injuries, while three are in a more serious condition.

Embassy staff have visited the Italian nationals and, in coordination with local authorities and the hospital’s medical director, are continuing to monitor the situation to ensure they receive the fullest support.
