Rome, Minister Tajani and Prime Minister Meloni conclude the 10th Edition of the Mediterranean Dialogues

Today in Rome, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, will join Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and ISPI President Franco Bruni at the closing ceremony of the 10th edition of the MED – Mediterranean Dialogues Conference, organised by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Institute for International Policy Studies (ISPI).

Before the conclusion, Minister Tajani will chair the session titled “Securing the Mediterranean: The Role of Western Balkans,” which will feature the Foreign Ministers of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro, as well as the Slovenian Secretary of State and a senior Serbian official. For the first time, representatives from the region have been invited to participate in the event, reflecting an effort to include them in discussions on the role the Western Balkans can play in enhancing Mediterranean security, including economic and energy aspects, in view of their future accession to the European Union.
