First meeting of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation members of the National Committee “Neapolis 2500” at the Farnesina

Today, Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs Antonio Tajani chaired the first meeting at the Farnesina with the members of the “Neapolis 2500” Committee he appointed, aimed at planning and guiding the international programme of celebrations for the 2,500th anniversary of the founding of the city of Naples. The Committee will be chaired by the Prefect of Naples, Michele Di Bari, and will comprise six members, three appointed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and three by the Minister of Culture. The three members selected to represent the Italian Foreign Ministry on the Committee are director Pupi Avati, entrepreneur Maria Luisa Faraone Mennella, and Ambassador Pasquale Ferrara, representing the fields of culture, business, and diplomacy respectively.
