Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs Antonio Tajani will be in Antalya, Türkiye, today and tomorrow (14 and 15 May) to take part in the informal meeting of NATO Foreign Ministers.
The Antalya meeting represents the last in-person opportunity for Foreign Ministers of the Alliance to gather ahead of the NATO Summit in The Hague, scheduled for 24–25 June.
Key topics of discussion will include the increase in defence spending, the expansion of industrial production, and the strengthening of deterrence and defence.
Minister Tajani’s participation in the Antalya meeting will provide an opportunity to reaffirm Italy’s commitment to achieving the 2% defence spending target ahead of the June Summit.
