Deputy Minister Cirielli’s mission to Norway

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Edmondo Cirielli, concluded a visit to Norway yesterday, accompanied by the Minister for Enterprises and Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso, for a meeting with the Norwegian Minister of Trade and Industry, Cecilie Terese Myrseth.

The talks offered an opportunity to advance the process of strengthening bilateral political, economic and industrial relations — a priority for the Italian Government following the recent meeting between the Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, and the Norwegian Prime Minister, Jonas Gahr Støre.

The Italian delegation, which also included the President of the Italian Space Agency, Teodoro Valente, continued its visit in the country with Norwegian authorities by travelling to the Andøya Spaceport — one of Europe’s most strategically significant infrastructures for space activities. The visit aimed to further deepen cooperation with Norway in key scientific and industrial sectors linked to the Arctic facility’s operations.
