The Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Edmondo Cirielli, today received at the Farnesina the Undersecretary for Economic and Development Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Estonia, Mariin Ratnik.
“Relations with Estonia are excellent and are founded on strong cooperation in the defence of democracy, security and international stability,” Deputy Minister Cirielli stated.
The talks focused on the conflict in Ukraine and on ways to continue supporting Kyiv in negotiations aimed at achieving a just and lasting peace. Priority areas of economic cooperation were also discussed, with particular emphasis on infrastructure and the defence industry.
