Today, Italy and Germany celebrate the 75th anniversary of the resumption of diplomatic relations, which began after World War II and has developed into a solid and comprehensive strategic partnership.
From economic cooperation to political dialogue, from cultural exchanges to the contribution of civil society, the two countries have built a bond that has significantly contributed to a more united, stronger, and competitive Europe.
Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani recalled that “Italy and Germany are now partners that collaborate closely, guided by shared European and transatlantic values and by strong political harmony, pragmatism, and excellent personal relations between their leaders, including mine with Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul.”
For the occasion, the logo “75 – a History that becomes Future” has been created, which will mark a calendar of initiatives and events in Italy and Germany throughout the year, dedicated to innovation, culture, and civil society.
