The Foreign Ministry expresses renewed concern over the approval of 3,000 new dwelling units in the West Bank following recent announcements. Consistently with Italy’s consolidated position, the Foreign Ministry points out that the further spread of settlements constitutes an obstacle to the prospect of a two-state solution which both Parties are called upon to undertake.
