On 2 June, the celebrations for Italian Republic Day took place at Antigua Casa Beban in Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego, Argentina, with the inauguration of the exhibition “Fashion Panorama – The Italian New Wave”.
This initiative, which was promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in collaboration with Vogue Italia, the Consulate General of Italy in Bahía Blanca and the Honorary Consular Agency of Italy in Ushuaia, is aimed at offering a journey through contemporary Italian fashion from the perspective of ten new-generation designers.
On 6 June, a seminar with fashion operators from the region will be organised in collaboration with the Secretariat for Culture of the city of Ushuaia on the same premises as the exhibition.
This initiative was strongly supported by the Consulate General in Bahía Blanca, to promote Made in Italy all the way to the so-called “fin del mundo”, one of the most iconic, celebrated and visited places in Argentina.
