The Italian Cultural Institute of Santiago de Chile, in collaboration with the Embassy of Italy, the Honorary Consulate General in Valparaíso, the Municipal Theatre of Viña del Mar, the Corporación Cultural de Puente Alto, and the Italian Cultural Institute of Montevideo, organised a series of concerts featuring Neapolitan singer FLO, accompanied by guitarist Federico Luongo and accordionist Francesco Di Cristofaro.
The celebrations of Italy’s Republic Day, organised by the Embassy of Italy, provided an ideal occasion to highlight the 2,500th anniversary of the founding of the city of Naples, while also promoting a young and contemporary expression of Italian culture—one capable of offering a fresh and personal interpretation of traditional elements.
FLO is an accomplished singer-songwriter, an interpreter of Italian art songs, and a highly versatile theatre actress. She is the recipient of numerous awards and enjoys widespread acclaim both in Italy and abroad. The concerts took place in three different venues on separate days: at the Embassy in Santiago, at the Municipal Theatre of Viña del Mar, and at the Theatre of the Centro Cultural in Puente Alto, the most populous municipality in the Santiago Metropolitan Region.
