As part of Italian Design Day 2024, the Italian Embassy to Poland promoted a fashion show on the banks of the Vistula River dedicated to some of the most interesting and innovative Italian brands, including Francesca Marchisio and Le Tre Sarte.

The event was organised in cooperation with the Italian Cultural Institute and Italian Trade Agency (ITA), with the involvement of GPoland, the largest distributor of Italian clothing brands in Poland.

In his opening speech, the Italian Ambassador in Warsaw, Luca Franchetti Pardo, remarked that “The spirit of innovation that characterises Italian designers and manufacturers working in the fashion industry is the answer to a future in which beauty and sustainability coexist, to enrich our lives and safeguard the planet”.

The evening opened with a presentation by Livia Tenuta, Professor of Design at the Italian University Politecnico di Milano and “Ambassador” of Italian design in Poland for 2024. This was followed by a panel discussion with experts in the field, moderated by renowned Polish journalist Hanna Lis.
