The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in cooperation with the Italian Trade Agency, is organising a bilateral economic partnership initiative dedicated to Kyrgyzstan.
The event will be held at the headquarters of Italian Trade Agency, in Via Liszt 21 Rome, on 3 October 2024, starting at 2 p.m. The aim is to provide Italian associations and companies with an overview of the opportunities offered by the Kyrgyz market.
Thanks to its significant mineral and water resources, its strategic position in the centre of the Asian region, and an increasing bilateral exchange, the country holds potential for infrastructure development, particularly in the hydroelectric energy and agriculture sectors.
The event – which falls within the context of the visit to Italy of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadir Japarov – will open with an initial session dedicated to B2B meetings with the participating Kyrgyz companies, followed by a plenary session with opening institutional greetings, and a presentation by Kyrgyzstan of the opportunities for trade and industrial partnership and investment in the following sectors: 1) Energy; 2) Textiles; 3) Banking; 4) Agro-industry and Water Resources.
The initiative will be held in Italian and Russian with simultaneous interpreting.
