Île-de-France Mobilités (IDFM), the public transport authority for the Île-de-France region, has announced in a press release that Azienda Trasporti Milanesi (ATM) has won a tender for the operation of surface transport services. The contract covers 18 bus routes in Paris and neighbouring municipalities, within an area home to approximately 2.2 million residents, as well as the management of an operational centre. The contract will commence on 1 March 2026 and will run for five years, with the possibility of a one-year extension. ATM will be the first non-French company to operate transport services in Paris and the Île-de-France region.
