Concomitantly to the Assembly of the Parties 2017 of IDLO (International Development Law Organization), the Farnesina hosted the IDLO Partnership Forum “Sustaining peace, sustainable development: the contribution of the rule of law”.
The Forum aimed to analyse the ways in which the rule of law and access to justice can favour sustainable development and contribute to building peaceful and fairer societies.
The event, which took place on 28 November, was opened by Nawaf Al-Mahamel, the President of the Assembly of the Parties of IDLO, followed by Benedetto Della Vedova, Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
The opening session was followed by an address by the president of IDLO and the Signing Ceremony of the new Parties adhering to the Establishment Agreement of IDLO.
