Collaboration between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and RAI

RAI (the Italian broadcasting company) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) have launched a new project to showcase young emerging talents of Italian modern music as part of a cultural promotion of Italy throughout the world.

A global tour will be organised in March with six young performers who are taking part in Sanremo Giovani 2018 (the first, second and third place winners during the two final evenings occurring on 20-21 December). They will travel to seven cities on five continents. The venues are currently being finalised and will include Tunis, Tokyo, Sydney, Buenos Aires, Toronto, Barcelona and Brussels.

The concerts will be organised on site by the diplomatic-consular missions and the Italian Cultural Institutes.

The project also forms part of the integrated promotion plan of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation to showcase Italian excellence in the world.
