Meeting of the Guardia di Finanza Expert and Liaison Officers on duty abroad

Today, the Farnesina hosted a technical meeting with Guardia di Finanza officers seconded to Italian Diplomatic Missions around the world. The meeting is part of an articulate programme of activities and initiatives promoted for the 13^th edition of the Plenary Meeting of the Guardia di Finanza Expert and Liaison Officers held in Rome from 25 to 29 March 2019. The meeting served to give the latest orientations and operating tips on priority issues to the Guardia di Finanza officers deployed abroad with the task of combating tax evasion and economic and financial crimes. More specifically, the meeting overviewed the dossiers of particular relevance for the Foreign Ministry, such as preventing and combating money laundering and the financing of terrorism and fighting corruption in the principal international fora.
