Mr Ferro (Ice), Expo Dubai an opportunity to recover after virus

“Dubai will be a great Universal Exposition, a great moment, a business opportunity for Italian companies”. This was said by Ice President Carlo Ferro in a video message to point out the collaboration with the Commissariat for Italy’s participation in the Universal Exhibition in Dubai. The postponement of the Expo until 1st October 2021 allows even more Italian companies to seize business opportunities during a recovery phase for our economy after the crisis due to the global pandemic.

“ICE is working alongside the Italian Commission and Italian companies to bring together as many foreign operators as possible in Dubai,” Mr Ferro added, noting that the claim of Italy’s participation in the Universal Exposition, ‘Beauty connects people’ is well suited “to the beauty and the well done Made in Italy, which we want to communicate and bring to the world more and more to make exports the driver of the recovery of companies as it has been the driver of the growth of our economies in recent years.

Already in the event “One Year to Go: the business system at Expo 2020”, held last October in Rome in the presence of Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Manlio Di Stefano, the Minister of Development and the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Italy, Ali Khalifa Al Nuaimi of the Commissioner General for Italy at Expo Dubai Paolo Glisenti, ICE President Carlo Ferro had indicated the guidelines of this collaboration.
