“We will support Ukraine as long as is necessary”. Here is the message launched today, on the anniversary of the Russian attack on Ukraine, by the Ambassadors of the G7 countries visiting Italy along with the Secretary General of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ettore Francesco Sequi, and the Ambassador of Ukraine in Italy, Yaroslav Melnyk.
In a video message posted this morning, the Canadian, French, UK and German Ambassadors (Elissa Golberg, Christian Masset, Edward Llewellyn, and Viktor Elbling), along with the Japanese Deputy Chief of Mission, Tsukasa Hirota, the US Chargé d’Affaires ad interim, Shawn Crowley and the Head of the European Commission Representation in Italy Antonio Parenti, declared their support to the Ukranian population. “Ukraine’s people need our help. We cannot leave them alone,” stated the diplomats in the video.
