Ministerial meeting on UN Security Council Reform (Foreign Ministry Rome, 4 February 2013)

On Monday 4 February Minister for Foreign Affairs Giulio Terzi will join Spanish Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Gonzalo de Benito Secades in chairing a ministerial meeting entitled “New Approaches to the Security Council Reform”. The meeting is intended to foster political dialogue among members of the UN from various areas of the world on the topic of UN Security Council reform, ahead of the resumption of discussions in New York over the coming weeks.


The day’s agenda includes the following press moments:


· Opening address by Minister Terzi,


· Minister Terzi’s press statements at the meeting’s end.


Journalists and camera operators interested in covering the event are asked to apply for accreditation by completing the interactive form available at the link http://mae.accreditationsystem.info/ITA/Indice.asp to which all required documentation can be attached in digital format.



If in exceptional cases it is not possible to complete the online accreditation procedure, applications in writing on company letterhead and signed by the director of the organisation concerned—indicating name, surname, date and place of birth, number of a valid ID document and qualification—should be sent by fax to the Press Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (tel. 063691.3432 fax 06.3691.2122).
