The 10th Italian Ambassadors’ Conference, on the theme of “Italy attracting the world: Italian diplomacy for investment in the ‘Country System’”, will take place on 18 and 19 December 2013 at the Farnesina.
The opening session, at 9.30 on 18 December, will be introduced by Foreign Minister Emma Bonino and will include an address by the Prime Minister, the Hon. Enrico Letta.
The second day, Thursday 19 December, will include an address by the President of the Republic, Giorgio Napolitano, at 17.30.
The following conference events will be open to the press:
Wednesday 18 December:
– Opening session with addresses by the Foreign Minister and the Prime Minister (9.30–10.30)
Thursday 19 December:
– closing session with address by the President of the Republic (17.30)
– family photo (to follow).
Online accreditation system. Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in following the event should:
– complete the interactive form available at http://mae.accreditationsystem.info/ITA/Indice.asp
– attach all required documentation (if not already submitted) to the form, in digital format

– a letter from your media organisation
– for foreign journalists in Italy: a note verbale issued by the Embassy in Rome of your media organisation’s country.
Applications should be submitted no later than 12.00 of Tuesday 17 December.

Wednesday 18 December
For the addresses by the Foreign Minister and the Prime Minister:
Photographers and TV crews: from 08.30 until no later than 08.30 to follow the speeches in the International Conference Hall.
Journalists: from 08.30 to 09.00 to follow the speeches in the salle d’écoute.
Thursday 19 December
For the address by the President of the Republic and the family photo:
Photographers and TV crews: from 15.45 until no later than 16.30 to follow the speeches in the International Conference Hall.
Journalists: from 15.45 to 17.00 to follow the events in the salle d’écoute.
