A new law on foreign investments in Cuba and business opportunities, in light of the economic reforms underway on the island, will be presented at 10:00 on Monday 30 June at the Foreign Ministry in Rome.
The presentation, organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Embassy of Cuba in Italy, UNIDO and the Italian Trade Agency, will be opened by Director General for Globalisation Luigi Marras and Deputy Minister for Foreign Trade of Cuba Ilena Nunez Mordoch, and is part of the Deputy Minister’s broader tour of European capitals.
The event will consist of a series of presentations, in the course of which the Cuban national context for foreign investments will be analysed along with the legislative framework, investment opportunities in the special development area of the Mariel and business opportunities in specific Cuban economic sectors such as tourism, industry, renewable energy and mining.
